Television actress Nidhi Shah essayed the role of Kinjal Shah in Star Plus’ most-watched serial Anupamaa. Starring Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna, her character won the hearts of the audience ever since she was introduced. Well, in the current track of the show it was seen that she left for the USA along with her husband Paritosh Shah and her daughter Pari. While reports of her quitting the show are doing rounds on the internet, during an interview, she revealed that she has exited the current track of the show. 

Talking to Pinkvilla about the same, she explained that she left the show as there wasn’t much for her to do. Expressing how it was the right time for her character to mark an exit, quoted by Bollywood Life, she said, “There wasn't much left to do and it's always better to not drag a character and have a decent end to it. I also think Kinjal had a great graph in the show. Well, it is still unclear if Nidhi has quit the show altogether or if she will be making her comeback for the upcoming track of the TV serial where Anu will be seen building a life for herself in the US. During her interaction with ETimes, she shared that she has just exited the current track and that she has been misquoted during her interviews. She even went on to add that she is yet to receive a confirmation from the makers if they decide to bring Kinjal back. She even went on to express her gratitude for getting a chance to play such a memorable character. According to a recently released promo, it will be seen that Anu will move to America with any of her family members, especially Anuj and Choti. Malti Devi has been plotting against Anu and vowing to separate her from her son and granddaughter, in the past few episodes. With Anuj bringing Baa and Bapuji in the Kapadia mansion so that Anu can take care of all her family member, it will be interesting to see how the show further progresses. The fans have been left curious to know why she decided to separate from her family. What will happen to the Kapadias, the Shahs? Will Malti Devi be successful in separating Anuj from Anu?
